Here are the 10 startups joining Health Incubator Helsinki
Earlier this year, Health Incubator Helsinki opened its 7th application round. The new batch of high-potential health startups is now selected – meet the teams!
Health Incubator Helsinki, Finland’s first incubator program dedicated to health startups, has selected its seventh batch of promising companies. Interest in the program was exceptionally strong this year: the call attracted more than 50 applications from teams in Finland and around the world.
After a thorough selection process, the following companies were chosen: Alveos, ChainPeptides, Cornea Sense, HumGel, Long Play Lab Finland, Onni Biotechnologies, Ounas Health, Rayca Precision, VeinOptima and Wellmatix.
“The selected 10 companies represent exceptional dedication, strong growth potential, and scalable business models”, says Christian Lardot, Incubator Lead at Health Incubator Helsinki.
Tailored support and strong networking opportunities
The incubator program, initiated by Business Helsinki and the University of Helsinki, provides long-term support for startups, including tailored mentoring and advice. Teams are offered office and co-working facilities at Terkko Health Hub, next to HUS Helsinki University Hospital. Since autumn 2025, selected companies in the program have also had the opportunity to access laboratory facilities at Biomedicum.
New teams begin with a two-month onboarding phase focused on developing their concept and raising capital. After that, the support shifts to a more tailored, company-specific approach, based on each team’s needs and stage of development.
Participants also gain access to a network of over 150 organizations, including local and international investors and industry-specific experts.
“According to our customer satisfaction surveys, companies highly value the broad range of support we provide in securing financing. The connections we offer, along with the opportunity to learn from other startups in the program, are also highly appreciated,” Lardot says.
